Kaitlyn Duffy

Kaity graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Kaity focused on combining her interests in science and security through a series of cooperative education experiences, including with INTERPOL Washington, the Naval Postgraduate School, and the U.S. Department of State. Through Northeastern University, Kaity also participated in a Dialogue of Civilizations trip to Geneva, Switzerland, where she studied international diplomacy and humanitarian action.

After graduation, Kaity spent a year with the Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), helping to build and sustain an interdisciplinary network of young professionals interested in nonproliferation, nuclear security, and the modern nuclear enterprise. At the Bush School, Kaity continued to combine her interests in science and security through courses on nuclear non-proliferation and infectious diseases.

After the Bush School, Kaity will be an NNSA Graduate Fellow with the Department of State.
