Mark Niegelsky

Class of 2014

Mark graduated from Texas A&M’s Bush School of Government and Public Service in 2014, receiving his Masters of International Affairs. He focused specifically on National Security and Diplomacy, studying the arenas of intelligence and military affairs. While at the Bush School, Mark served as a graduate assistant in the Scowcroft Institute of International Affair and was the Lead Writer for his capstone group.

In 2013, Mark interned at the El Paso, TX Resident Office of the Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service. He has also researched organized crime and the shadow economy while studying in the Balkans and spent a summer in Vladivostok, Russia improving his Russian. He is currently working in luxury hotel security.

Mark received his BA in Global studies in 2012 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with additional minors in English and Russian Culture. He is proficient in Russian.
