Michael (Eli) Mitrani

Eli Mitrani graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University in 2014, receiving Bachelor’s degrees in both Criminology and Psychology with minors in Middle East Studies and Mathematics. Eli served the FSU campus as a Resident Assistant and as a Freshman Interest Group (FIG) leader. He was the recipient of the FSU Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2013 for volunteering 10 months overseas teaching English in Israel. In addition to his time in Israel, Eli spent the 2014-2015 academic year in Jordan studying Arabic as a Boren Scholar. Eli has also previously interned with the Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Marshals Service. In his spare time, Eli enjoys scuba diving, sports, cooking and travelling.

At the Bush School, he is studying international affairs, focusing on national security and diplomacy. Eli is pursuing a career in federal law enforcement.
