Class of 2018
Kelly Roberts works for the Office of Management and Budget while attending the Maryland School of Public Policy. At OMB, Kelly prepares technical analysis for the economic assumptions for the U.S. Government’s Budget. This summer, Kelly will continue to work in OMB’s Budget Review Division, Budget Analysis Branch, where she will provide research and cost estimates for proposed legislation, and conduct sensitivity analysis and economic modeling.
Prior to starting her graduate studies, Kelly worked as a Senior Program Associate for the World Justice Project. At the World Justice Project, Kelly managed data collection and analysis for the WJP’s flagship publication, the Rule of Law Index. She also conducted research on the status of the rule of law in different countries as well as on the mechanisms by which the rule of law operates and affects economic and political life.
Kelly graduated magna cum laude from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina in 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a double minor in Anthropology and French. During college, she was a Research Assistant for the Office of Senate Research at the South Carolina Senate. While completing her degree, Kelly also studied abroad at Moulay Ismail University in Meknes, Morocco.
