Jordan graduated Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Asian Studies in 2016. Before college Jordan joined the Marine Corps and was deployed to Ramadi, Iraq where he first gained his interest in foreign policy. After his deployment he lived in South Korea for two years as a missionary and became interested in North and South Korea. Jordan then began studying at Brigham Young University, focusing on South Korean politics and East Asian security issues. During his undergraduate he also studied abroad at Seoul National University and Cheonnam University in South Korea. He also worked as an intern at the Foreign Service Institute in Arlington and the consular section of the US embassy in Seoul, South Korea.

Jordan is studying national security and diplomacy at Texas A&M and hopes to join the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer.
