Through these experiences and additional training, Daniel has gained advanced proficiency in Spanish and French and intermediate competency in Portuguese. Daniel has demonstrated his commitment to public service through a number of internships. Daniel interned in Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ office. He also interned at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru with both the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
