Nathan graduated from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in 2013 with dual master’s degrees in public administration and international relations. While at Maxwell, his academic specializations included international development, post-conflict reconstruction, and public management. He currently serves as a Foreign Service Contracting Officer for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Previously, he worked for USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives, as well as for several democracy and public health NGOs based in the Washington, DC, area. Nathan was born and raised in the Washington, DC, area, and speaks French and Arabic.
