Charlotte Karrlsson-Willis

Charlotte Karrlsson-Willis is a cum laude 2012 Tufts University (MA) graduate. While studying there she earned a B.A. in international relations and a B.A. in religion. Charlotte also interned in a number of various roles as well, working as a researcher with the National Security Archive, then with a number of marketing and communications firms both in the United States and in Spain.
Following undergraduate studies she moved to Santiago, Chile where she worked as an investigative journalist. She covered major events from the 40th anniversary of the military coup, ongoing terrorism trials and conflict with the indigenous Mapuche, and major international court cases. While working full time for a local newspaper she was also hired as a par-time radio correspondent for BBC5’s Up All Night program and was invited to write an opinion piece for the New York Times.

At the Bush School, she studies national defense policy and spent her summer internship working with the Department of Defense.
