Justinas Sileikis

Justinas just completed a summer internship at the U.S. Department of Defense, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, where he focused his work on the changing nature of modern national security threats stemming from the convergence of belligerent non-state groups and illicit criminal networks.

Prior to attending Fletcher, Justinas spent several years as an analyst with Cubic Applications, Inc. as a contractor to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. In this role he functioned as an analyst of unilateral and bilateral military exercises in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, with an emphasis on CBRN foreign consequence management. He has also contributed research to the 2010 NATO Strategic Concept and spent time as a project manager at an NGO in rural Cameroon.

Justinas was born in Queens, New York, where his family still resides. He is proficient in Lithuanian and French.
