Bush School of Texas A&M
Class of 2013
Thomas began his professional international experience as a member of the Peace Corps in Bulgaria where he helped to develop and implement an employment- training program for the region’s Turkish and Roma minorities. His skill with the Bulgarian language led him to Austin, TX working as an editor specializing in translations from Slavic languages, where he remained until moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina. There, he spent two years learning Spanish and running an online writing and editing company working for a variety of local and international clients.
Thomas graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 with his Master’s in International Affairs, focusing on diplomacy and development. After a brief period working as a GovLoop Fellow in DC, he moved to Delaware to help his cousin run her farm during her cancer recovery. With that resolved, he is eager to return to DC and its countless opportunities for public service.
