Nathaniel graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and minor in international development. He became an active leader at BYU and in his community as a program director for an organization that served special needs children. Nathaniel was selected team lead for a social entrepreneurship collaborative initiative with an NGO in Paraguay. Upon graduating, Nathaniel moved to Houston, TX to join Teach for America. There, he taught Pre-AP Spanish and middle school English. His third year of teaching, he was a 6th grade level chair.
Previously, Nathaniel served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he developed his passion for public service. At the Bush School, he is studying international affairs with a concentration in conflict and development. Nathaniel is also a Rosenthal Fellow.
